Temporary Exhibition

Pit to Picture: A collection of artwork from beneath and beyond the Kent Coalfield
The colliery was a specialist field of work - but individuals still explored and pursued other skills, interest and hobbies. Many of them were artists, and this exhibition showcases a variety of pieces of artwork by pit artists, children and spouses of miners, and those supporting the miners' cause. This FREE exhibition runs until January 2026.
